Scott was President of the Club in 1987.
Ian Goldie resigned the Presidency of the Claremont Football Club in October 1986 and was replaced by Stephen Scott. Scott was one of the Club’s most prominent players for Claremont in the seventies. He came to Claremont after playing for Hale School.
