Looking across reed filled Butler’s Swamp to the south-east showing two trucks, a van and bull-dozer to level the sand fill.  In the background are houses in Elliott Road, the Football Club Pavilion, Boy Scouts and Police and Citizen’s youth Club halls.  Green’s buildings, the Station, goods shed, hotel and the semi detached houses on the left.
