Les McClements a champion Claremont player between the years of 1941 and 1950  Tassie Medalist in 1947- and three-times Claremont best and fairest.

Les McClements had no peer as a ruck-man.   McClements was a prolific goal-kicking ruck-man in WA history.  A dominant force in 2 States and a record-breaking interstate star.  If not for WW2 and missing four seasons, enlisting in the army, accepting a highly paid coaching contract in Tasmania, McClements wood have been held in such high esteem alongside Polly Farmer and Barry Cable.
