July 2,1949 Claremont Football Club played a Tasmanian side in Hobart.  This photo shows the trainers sitting on the side of Hobart Oval where Claremont played the side from the Tasmanian Football league.

Claremont Football Club  had arranged for a team of players and officials  to tour through Kalgoorlie, Launceston, Hobart and Melbourne and back to Perth.  The group went by train and plane for the tour and these photos were taken by Jack Reeves who labelled and kept them and later handed them to his daughter.

The three trainers were listed as J. Reeves and A. Guard and the third is possibly the property steward B.I Dover.

REEVES, Edward John (Jack) – Played 96 games for Claremont between 1936 and 1946, on retirement was the trainer for a couple of years for the Club.
