John Scott has played 130 games for Claremont during 1985 – 1990.  Two stories in the Budgets in 1980s.  “Scott now finds the touch”  Claremont have had no trouble locating class mid-fielders but have had trouble locating top quality forwards to finish that hard work.  At the departure of Warren Ralph led to the Tigers recruiting John Scott.  Scot played in defence the previous year but has been moved back to being a forward.  Last week Scott kicked 7 goals against Perth and trails Mick Rae by only one goal now.  Claremont have numerous other forwards to kick goals in Steve Goulding, Stephen Malaxos, Michael Mitchell and Derek Kickett.

The other story is Scott looking forward to a challenge.   He is going to come up against South Fremantle’s Craig Edwards
