Jock Hamley story from Club Newsletter
He was the Club secretary between 1928 – 1933. After his time as Secretary Jock was elected on the Committee of Management and subsequently became the ‘returning Officer’ for the Club. he held this post for 26 years until health forced him to retire in 1971.
Jock was also the Club Honorary Statistician and historian keeping meticulous records of the players and games over an extended period. His dedication and commitment to Claremont and Football over 40 years he was rewarded with Life Membership of both Claremont and the W.A.F.L.
