In 1939 the Claremont Football Club photo is taken in Mount Augusta. The Club had sent a team away to tour through Kalgoorlie through Broken Hill and then to Adelaide.  The group went by train for the tour and these photos were taken by Jack Reeves who labelled and kept them and handed them to his daughter.

Players and officials were:  F. Hopkins (70 games (35-41), S. Headon (94 games 36-45), M. Gibson (56 games 36 -41), J. Reeves (96 games 36-46), B. Bermingham (49 games 36-49), W. O’Neill (98 games 38-48) and R. Hesford (20 games 39-41).
