In 1938 the Western Australian Football team was selected for an interstate tour of Victoria and South Australia. This team was to play Victoria on the MCG on Saturday 16th July 1938. 1. Victoria defeated W.A. by 22 points 22 goals 13 points to 17.21.  2.  Following this game the West Australian team travelled to Adelaide to play South Australia 3.  WA was again beaten -18.14 to 14.17 by 21 points. 3.  Played South Australia again 3 days later and West Australia won by 10 points. 4. 25 days later West Australia beat South Australia by 123 points and again 5. 3 days later in Perth WA won by 30 points.

On the trip to Victoria, 6 players were photographed on the Nullabor.
