Flying Tigers were for Claremont Players from the County who flew to Perth to play weekly.
In the Who’s Who Magazine in 1983 it detailed over three pages the story of the Flying Tigers. These were a group of players from the Country Zones who flew to Perth each week to play for Claremont. Several players utilised this travel while in operation.
Some of the players were Allen Mycock, Brian Fairclough and Des Leo who were the initial travellers and later Brayshaw the Gooding brothers were among several others during the 1960s.
