Ernest Ivan Lummis was presented with Life Membership in a Badge and Cuff Links

After finishing his career in 1949, Ernie remained involved with the Club and was presented with Life Membership in the 1970s for service given.

The award considted of a gold badge with the letters CFC on top and a set of gold cufflinks, engraved Life Membership, Past Players Association and E. I Lummis.

Ernest Lummis was one of a small group of speedy players that plied their trade at Claremont through the late 1940s.

Two of these were brothers Norman and Ernest Lummis, while small in stature both were excellent players on the ball.

Ernest Played 48 Games for Claremont between 1946 and 1949.

Norman Played 79 Games between 1946 and 1953.
