David Rawlinson has played 61 games for Claremont between 1976 and 1980.  Attached are two stories headed ” Rawlinson is why Moss is smiling” and “Keyman – David Rawlinson”.  Rawlinson has been a key ruck-man who has played in the shadow of Graham Moss, is a very important player at the Club.  he is 26 years old and started with Claremont in 1976 and gradually improved as a player at the club.  He has showed he has the physical ability to match it with the best in the land, when he deputised for Graham Moss for half of last Sunday’s Escort Cup match against Melbourne – and that meant facing up against one of Football’s toughest ruck-men in Carl Ditterich.   Rawlinson did an excellent job in curtailing the Victorian ruck-man.

This good form and the success of Barry Beecroft has meant that Moss can spend a lot more time at centre-half-forward which offers better balance for the team.
