Colin Barns is an unobtrusive type player who has plenty of confidence and goes about his task with a minimum of fuss. The Claremont backline has plenty of talent and experience and the way Barns has slotted in and improved over the the last couple of seasons is a tribute to not only his perseverance, but also to the way his team mates make sure that the defence becomes a team within a team.
