Claremont Fire of 1944 and subsequent Damage to the Grandstand and Club Rooms.
This was a horror event for the Football Club as they lost all records of the players and the Club. They also lost all the memorabilia and jumpers retained by the Club, including items from the triple Premiership 1938 – 1940.
