The words spoken by the club doctor say “Heavy knock behind play? More like a heavy drop behind play”.

This was based on a newspaper story that Claremont champion Kevin Clune, who played in the sides 1964 premiership.  Kevin allegedly enjoyed a nip of sherry during the game and a trainer would bring out a bottle in a brown bag at three quarter time.
