Book- “Heroes with Haloes” – Russell Holmesby – John McIntosh.
A book was written by Russell Holmesby and it looked at the top 100 greatest players who played for St. Kilda in the VFL. Three players were involved with Claremont and St. Kilda and one was John McIntosh, the Claremont champion and ruckman.
McIntosh played 146 games for Claremont between 1962 – 1969. He transferred to and played 51 games for St. Kilda from 1970 – 1972. He represented WA 18 times and Victoria once. Due to injuries he retired at the end of 1972.
