Alan (Pops) Shaw, Caricature and Story in the In-House Club Magazines
Alan (Pops) Shaw was approached and came to Claremont as a trainer in 1955. He acted in the position of Assistant Head Trainer in 1960 – 1961 and then became Head Trainer in 1962. Photo in Tiger Rag June 1971.
Pops remained in this position at Claremont and also was Head Trainer for the State teams and the First State of Origin side. A great and loyal servant to the Claremont Football Club through his whole tenure at the Club.
