In 1938 the W.A Football side toured Victoria and South Australia. On 16th July WA lost by 22 points to the Victorians. WA then travelled to Adelaide and played 2 games against SA, losing the first on 27th July by 21 points and winning the second on the 26.7/38 by 10 points. SA then played W.A. in Perth on the 20th and 23 August and lost both to WA, the first by 123 points.
