Among several others, the WAFL is a pace backwards in their football careers. A few hope it is a launching pad to the AFL. Mountford is a product of the North Albany Football Club, who played just one league game for the Tigers before being snapped up by the Kangaroos. The 22 year old lined up in 12 before he was released at the end of last season and without hesitation returned to Claremont. He is a classy midfielder at WAFL level.
