Kane Mitchell won a Sandover Medal playing as a hard running wingman. He is now a hard nosed inside midfielder whose impact for Claremont is probably even greater than his 2012 season. Mitchell gathered 39 possessions, 19 of them in contests and 11 of them as clearances to set up Claremont’s grinding 34 point win over Swan Districts. Claremont spearhead Tom Lee kicked 4 of his 5 goals in a 15 minute burst in the last quarter. Declan Mountford produced one of his best displays since rejoining the Club and Jye Bolton and Ryan Lim had excellent games.
