Sandover medal favourite Bolton received 46 votes to clinch the league’s richest prize, nine more than South Fremantle’s Ashton Hams.  Bolton recruited from Werribee  was a standout in a frustrating season for the Tigers in which they lost 8 games by 8 points or less.
