2016, March 21, West Australian, Story and photos “Hardisty stars in Tiger mauling” and photo of Jared Hardisty celebrating a goal with teammates Ryan Lim and Anton Hamp.  Claremont coach Michael Broadridge had strong contributions coming out of his ears in his team’s 76 romp over a hapless East Perth but he was most pleased with 20 year old Jared Hardisty. The Royals with 14 Eagles in their lineup were left to lament a shocker with Claremont winning16.14 to East Perth 5.4.  Broadridge was delighted with a midfield led by Tom ledger and Ryan Lim, a defence  steadied by Matt Davies, Dylan Ross and Bailey Rogers and the twin attack of Beau Maister and Darcy Cameron. But it was Hardisty, more bull than surgeon who caught the coach’s eye. Hardisty won 19 possessions many of them in contests and provided the strong body Claremont needed.
