When Jake Waterman needs a reminder of how tough it is to make a career out of football all he has to do is sit down and have a talk to his brother Alec. Two years ago Alec found himself in the same position, readying himself for State championships and potentially a spot at West Coast Eagles. A bad case of glandular fever and adrenal fatigue robbed him of energy and confined him to the house.
