2016, April 8 , West Australian, Story and photos “Tiger Weedon returns for another crack” and photo of Gerrick Weedon at Derby.  The lure of a third WAFL flag after a sabbatical in the Kimberley’s that rekindled his passion for football has convinced Gerrick Weedon to return to Claremont.  The former West Coast forward who achieved his life long dream to play one AFL match in 2011 but felt unfulfilled.  He returns to the Tigers and expects to play with the Tigers reserves at the end of the month. Weedon had a remarkable time at Claremont with consecutive premierships at colts 2009, reserves 2010 and league 2011-12 as well as a Foxtel Cup Flag.
