2012, April 10 , West Australian, Story and Photo, heading “Andrews leads way for Tigers” and photo of Tiger Andrew Foster firing off a hand-pass to Paul Medhurst.   Mitch Andrews produced a remarkable first quarter against his former team to blaze a trail for Claremont to win against West Perth.  The knockabout ruckman had 15 hit outs and 6 disposals in the opening term at Claremont Oval.  Claremont eased to a 45 point emphatic win much due to Andrews game. Others were the midfielders Luke Blackwell, Kane Mitchell and Byron Schammer each had 30 plus possessions while Ryan Neates and Tom Swift won plenty of their own ball.
