In 2010 Rod Willet interviewed Claremont Football Club property steward Eddie Coyle for an article in the Budget Spin-a-yarn.
His parents moved to Cottesloe in 1963 and Eddie became a member of the Claremont Football Club in 1970. He approached Claremont for any way he can help them and has been involved with the Club in many positions over the last 50 years and even now in 2023 he is still assisting in the Property Room.
