2006, April 2, The Sunday Times, Photo and story “Old wounds reopen”.  Photograph of Daniel Bandy running from his Subiaco opponent.  Claremont lost against Subiaco in one of the first games for the season.  The Tigers looked rusty and despite the best efforts could not beat the match drilled Subiaco.  Bandy making his debut for Claremont worked hard in the ruck with occasional rests up forward.  For a big man his athleticism was a standout on the wide expanse of Medibank Oval.  Claremont was without Michael Gardiner (Hamstring).  As well as bandy Michael Cousens was solid in the midfield with 26 possessions while Brett Jones had a good game in defence.
