2005, May 18 , The West, Photo and Story under headline “Your local blockbuster a birthplace of stars”.  A photo of Club men: West Coast dual premiership players Don Pyke and Tony Evans return to their old home Claremont to work together in coaching roles in 1998, both played with ben Allan as juniors at Dalkieth – Nedlands.

This story is based on the community round and discusses the Dalkieth – Nedlands junior football club.  Players from this club went through the junior ranks to the Claremont underage juniors and through to the Claremont league teams.  Numerous players then went on to play in the AFL.
