2005, May 14 , The West Australian, Story under headline “Tigers to cap off 80 years”.  Claremont is the latest sporting club paying tribute to league players with commemorative caps and jumpers to celebrate their 80 years.   From Claremont’s first ever league player Joseph Allen, who gets the cherished number 1 jumper, to the most recent Tiger in big forward Tom Parker at 1066 after his senior debut a fortnight ago.

Andrew Embley became the 1000th payer to represent the club during his 13th game stint with Claremont while they were the Eagles host club.
