2004, Sept. 15, The West Australian, story and photo under headline “Waters a chance for Tigers.”. teenage defender Beau Waters could be a surprise starter for Claremont at Sunday’s grand final.  The West Coast squad member is free to play at Subiaco with 9 league games for the Tigers in 2004. Waters missed the last 2 games with a thigh injury.  The 18 year old who was on the verge of a call up for Claremont against Swan Districts last week.  Claremont erred on the side of caution to give him an extra week to recover.  Waters had the reputation as one of the toughest players in last year’s draft.
