Ashley McIntosh could not remember the last time he kicked 7 goals in a match. McIntosh was returning to football and through to the Eagles team after injury and was just happy to get through the match. He lined up in a forward pocket and did not stray too far from the goal square in his return from a nagging hamstring injury. It was only his 11th game for Claremont.
