2001 Myles Quinn shoulders the burden of the ruck work in the Claremont league team. Quinn has shown he has big shoulders as he takes on the main ruck-man role with Claremont making a late season charge for a position in the finals.
Claremont are two games shy of West Perth for a finals berth but have a superior percentage. Quinn has been a key forward for the Tigers and showed against Subiaco that he is a hard player to match up on. He would have been State centre-half-forward last month if he hadn’t been injured. Teenager David Crawford has showed some strong form in the forward line while Ryan Pitcher has shown the ability to swing forward to kick goals.
