2001, July 20, West Australian, Story and photo under headline “Dunin’s late switch gives Tigers a boost”.  A photograph of Nick Dunin is attached to this story. ‘

Claremont ruckman Nick Dunin is making the most of a decision to switch from a basketball and cricket background to football.  The 199cm Dunin started his football career at 17, he was then picked out by Claremont colts coach Lloyd Christopher when playing for John XX!!! in the Quit Cup.  He adapted quickly playing in the 1997 Colts premiership side and through to playing hid first league game in 1999.  He spent all the 2000 season in the reserves side and played 4 league games last year.  He has shouldered much of Claremont’s ruck duties especially with injuries to the other ruck-men Paulk Whitelaw and Dane Rawlings.
