Crabb was one of 12 former AFL players to get a second chance in the AFL. Crabb was thrown a lifeline by Port Adelaide which picked him up with his second selection. Crabb had an outstanding 2001 season at Claremont where he was the fairest and best and was selected in the State team. In 1997 he was the Eagle’s number 1 draft selection.
