1994, April 3, Sunday Times, Story and Photo “Neesham to harvest another crop of Tigers”. Photo of Darren Klemm shooting out hand pass. Claremont coach Gerard Neesham’s traditional post-premiership rebuilding program brought an ominous smile to the Tigers leader. Although Claremont only beat last year’s runners up West Perth by 9 points , the performance of another batch of young players pleased Neesham. Like the season’s which followed Claremont premierships in 1987,89 and 91, Neesham has been forced to quickly develop new talent to replace the drafted players. Players to leave are Brian Beresford, Mark Hann and Daniel Southern. New in the side are Leigh Wardell-Johnson and Kingsley Hunter who both played well.
