It was no coincidence that Chris Lewis and Don Pyke were quick to seek each other out for a congratulatory embrace after the final siren. The two have enjoyed football’s ultimate thrill with West Coast and while both would have preferred to have been part of the finals campaign enjoyed the days success. Pyke collected 26 possessions in the grand final win and said a grand final success at any level is one to cherish.
