1994, September 26, an article in the West Australian Newspaper on the bright future for the defeated tigers. The Tigers lost the Grand Final against Subiaco yesterday but showed they would remain a force in the WAFL competition. Claremont has been the most successful club for the past 10 years and have another good crop of young players coming through the system.
Players include 19 year old Anthony Jones, retiring captain Mark Brayshaw, Brad Wira, Leigh Wardell-Johnston Rhys Croxford and Jeremy Sheldrick.
