west Perth have sent a letter of complaint to the WAFL General Manager Trevor Howard over Claremont playing 19 players at the start of the second quarter in last Sunday’s second semi final.  Falcons team manager was not asking for the result to be changed but he questioned the effect the extra man had for Claremont.  The bottom line he said Claremont won by 11 points and they scored when the extra man was on the ground.

John O’Connell the Claremont President said that it was an innocent mistake.  As soon as Gerard Neesham realised he took him off the ground.  I cannot believe they would be so petty as to raise this issue.   He said if west Perth had stopped the match and done a head count we would have had to abide by the decision.
