1991 while most Football Clubs fell on hard time and difficulties in attracting major sponsors, Claremont came up with a real winner this year.
The Club’s Corporate Classic initiative solved their sponsorship problems and relying on two loyal supporters in the Swan Brewery and FAI. The sponsorship from these two Companies has been fantastic but Claremont needed to fill the void left with the departure of HFC Finance.
in the photo are Dale Ballantyne and Andrew McGovern assisting with the classis. 220 businesses were invited to a function after agreeing to an initial contribution of $250.00. Each business went into the drawer to see who would become the major sponsor for the year. Claremont raised over $50,000 for the night.
