1991, June 23,  The Sunday Times Newspaper under heading ” Panizza dazzles lack-luster South”.   Claremont crushed a lack-lustre South Fremantle by 65 points yesterday at Claremomt.  Centre-half-back Darrell Panizza once again set the standard for Claremont.  He outplayed 3 opponents finishing with 5 marks, 21 kicks and 8 handballs.  He played with poise across half back and a vital cog in the tight-knit defence.

Not far behind was Paul Burton and in the forward line Geoff miles and John Hutton kicking seven and 5 goals respectively.  Claremont mid-field held sway with Kevin Mitchell Mark Hann, Jason Norrish and Andrew McGovern providing most impetus.
