1991 Fact File on Claremont Player Rob Malone from the Budget.  Malone came to Claremont Football Club from Newman College and played in the Colts side.  Malone was voted best player in the 1988 Colts grand final winning the Medalist Medal.  It took him a further 2 years to win a regular place in the league side, playing 1 game the previous year due to the incredible depth of the Club.

This season Malone is one of only 4 players to play every game in the League side  and his versatility has been a tremendous bonus for Neesham.  He has played much of his football out of the centre and is a good outsider in the search for the football Sandover medalist.
