1991 Claremont’s John Hutton stole the show on the field when he topped the WAFL goal-scoring with some great marks and some fine kicking. he was also hard to keep down after the victorious grand final win. he especially liked the gam celebrations as during the game he kicked his 100th goal. One of his first actions after the game was to acquire the ball and find an appropriate place to hide it.
Hutton played 69 games for Claremont between 1985 – 1995. During these years he did suffer numerous missed games through injury.
