1991 a review in the Football Budget of Paul Burton. Burton was a country product having transferred from the Mt. Barker area. He is 22 years of age and transferred to Perth 4 years earlier with a slow rise to the Claremont League side.
Burton has suffered several long term injuries which has delayed his career but is starting to get his career back on track. he finished the previous year with playing the last 10 games of the season but was injured again. He fought back and he has now regained his position in the league side and showed great coolness in defence.
Burton has played 65 games for Claremont between 1988 and 1995.
