Three stories about Mann, Ralph and Allan.

  1. “Warren Ralph sets Tigers record”.   Warren Ralph kicked his first goal on Saturday’s 1989 second Semi Final.  It was his 555th goal in his 121 game for Claremont.  This made him the highest Claremont goal-scorer since George Moloney in 1945.  Now Ralph is on target to become the only player to have played in three premiership sides since the war.
  2. “Eager Mann rises to the challenge”.  Teenager Peter Mann enhanced his reputation Saturday when he was moved into the ruck after an injury to Peter Higgins.    Mann had to match his skills with burley South Fremantle ruckman Craig Edwards.  Mann was voted his sides best player although he thought he could have done better.
  3. Allan fronts Tigers hunt for top spot”.  As Claremont hunt for another premiership, Ben Allan stands out as the spearhead of this premiership drive.  Allan has been one of the best players for Claremont each week and his role at centre has been pivotal to the Tiger’s success.
