1989 “Super league to aid local Leagues”. Tiger’s Gerard Neesham has come out strongly in support of “Fight for Football Campaign”. The idea would be two competitions and players playing in the various state Leagues and then when that is finished have a separate Super league. That would keep the leagues strong in all States.
A Claremont side could be Begovich, John Scott, Melesso, McKenna, Miles, Chris Lewis, M.Hann, Ben Allan, Phil Krakouer, M. Mitchell, P. Mann, Derek Kickett, J. Krakouer, Ralph, Mark Bradshaw, O’Connell, Rowland, Thorne, Blackwell, Malaxos and Annear.
