In 1981 Claremont can thank their Southern Districts recruits for helping them to win the premiership. The Tigers of 81 hosted Darrell Panizza, Baden harper, Mark Watson, Allen Daniels, Jim and Phil Krakouer.
Also in the team were players Noel Morton, Tom Pearce and ray Smith from Lower Great Southern.
Through to 1989 Claremont have continued to develop the region and players like Billy Krakouer, Paul Burton, Dale Ballantyne, Craig Stark and Phil Gilbert.
