This year’s Grand final may be a swansong for Peter Thorne. The hard working Claremont rover who gave another spirited dispaly in Claremont’s 25 point victory over Subiaco doubted he would be able to play for another season. “I will make up my mind a few weeks after the grand final”.
Since joining Claremont in 1983 he has become the States top rover, winning Simpson medals in last years grand final and the WA – VFA match this year.
