Billy Krakouer is following in the footsteps of famous family members at the Claremont Football Club. He arrived at Claremont a couple of years after his brothers Phil and Jim Krakouer. The pressure of following his brothers proved too much for Billy and he returned to Mt. Barker and then followed his brothers to Victoria and played in the VFA. He did though play 16 games for Claremont during 1988 and 1989.
