1987 Darren Klemm’s return to Claremont is a bonus. They have received a mid-field boost with the return of Darren Klemm this season – after an elbow injury last year forced him out for all but one game. He also missed a substantial part of the previous season with work commitments in Indonesia.
Klem was just starting to establish himself in 1985 when he accepted the job in Indonesia after having made his debut in 1984. Before this season he had only played 11 senior games and one wondered how much longer the Tigers would persevere with the nuggetty rover. However Claremont officials have a high regard for Klemm’s ability and at no stage did they think of giving up on him.
