“Records tumble as Claremont crush South Fremantle”.  Claremont turned Easter Monday into a record breaking day against South Fremantle at Claremont Oval.  Claremont kicked 33.18 to win by 147 points.  This match marked a sensational return for Steven Malaxos who was man of the match.

Malaxos in the centre and wingers Darrell Panizza and Peter Davidson made an unbeatable centreline.  They had 76 kicks and 36 handpasses. Also the performances of Cam Shepherd, Steven Goulding, Peter Thorne and Mark Hann.  David O’Connell had 25 hit outs in the ruck in the first quarter.   Full forward John Scott kicked 8 goals and Tony Beers kicked 7 goals.
