1982 Westside Newspaper edition of “Know your Club” Claremont. Claremont has not been one of the most successful Clubs since the start of t’s entry into the WANFL or WAFL. To try and bridge the gap between other Clubs, Claremont has worked hard to adopt a more professional approach in administration.
The return of Graham Moss a VFL Brownlow medal winner to be captain/coach was another major step forward. Claremont also attracted a major sponsor in Kelloggs and several associate sponsors.
Some of the stars beside Moss that Claremont has produced are Les McClements, Jack Reid, Ken Caporn, Les Mumme, Denis Marshall, and Kevin Clune. John Parkinson is one of the few Sandover medalists in recent years.
